Lotte Resort Buyeo Suite Review: A Deep Dive into Rooms, Breakfast, and Facilities

Buyeo is a city that embraces the history of the ancient Baekje Kingdom, a place where cultural heritage and nature blend seamlessly. For this trip, I chose Lotte Resort Buyeo for a relaxing family vacation. The resort is conveniently located near downtown Buyeo, with Lotte Outlet, Baekje Cultural Land, and the amphibious bus boarding point all within walking distance.
Above all, as expected from a resort operated by a major corporation, I visited with high expectations for the overall quality of the rooms, breakfast, and amenities. In this post, I will introduce the comfort of the rooms, the composition of the breakfast, and the facilities within the resort based on my actual stay.

Lotte Resort Buyeo: Location and Check-in Information
Lotte Resort Buyeo is located right next to Baekje Cultural Land, making it easily accessible not only by car but also for travelers on foot who can take an affordable taxi from the city center. By car, it's about a 10-minute drive from downtown Buyeo, highlighting its excellent accessibility.
The resort has a spacious underground parking lot, and parking is free for guests. An elevator connects the parking lot to the guest room buildings, which is convenient for families with a lot of luggage or young children. The parking space was relatively ample, so I had no major issues even during the weekend or peak season.

Lobby |
Check-in takes place at the front desk on the first floor. The lobby is spacious and clean. The circular structure, inspired by traditional Korean houses known as Hanok, in front of the resort entrance and the colorful resort buildings created a more impressive harmony than I had seen in pictures.
The official check-in time is 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. There were a few teams waiting at the front desk upon arrival, but the staff was quick and friendly, so I didn't have to wait long. At the front desk, I received the room key card along with a guide to the resort facilities and a map of the food and beverage outlets, which was helpful for planning my stay.
Additionally, a self-check-in kiosk system is available, which is another advantage as it allows for a quick check-in without waiting.
Room Review (Suite Double Room)
The room I stayed in was a Suite Double, one of the more spacious room types at Lotte Resort Buyeo. My first impression upon entering was the cleanliness and sense of space. The room has a separate living room and bedroom, making it seem particularly suitable for family travelers.

The living room was furnished with a sofa set, a table, and a large TV, which was sufficient for enjoying simple snacks or relaxing. The bedroom had a king-size bed, and the mattress was comfortably firm with good cushioning, allowing for a restful night's sleep. The bedding was also neatly arranged.
The second bedroom has bedding for two people, but it might not be enough depending on the number of guests, so it's a good idea to prepare extra bedding in advance or request it from the front desk. An additional bedding set costs 22,000 KRW (approx. $16 USD) per set, which is a bit pricey, so bringing your own travel bedding is worth considering.

Guest room |
The bathroom had a separate bathtub and shower booth, which was convenient to use. The amenities consisted of Lotte's own brand products. Following environmental protection policies, disposable items are not provided, so you need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. Towels of various sizes were provided generously, and a hairdryer was also available, so there was no inconvenience.
Four bottles of water are provided free of charge in the room. There was a coffee pot, but no tea bags or instant coffee were provided. The refrigerator did not have any extra drinks or snacks, but the convenience store on the B1 floor was close, so it wasn't an issue.

View from the room |
As there are many family guests, most visitors were families with children, and there was some noise between floors in the early evening. Indeed, reviews sometimes mention discomfort due to noise, so it's something to consider if you are sensitive to noise.
Overall, there were no major inconveniences, and thanks to the well-secured privacy of the structure, I was able to stay comfortably.
Breakfast Buffet
Breakfast is served at the 'Bondimasle' restaurant on the first floor of the resort. The interior is spacious and pleasant with about 400 seats, and the generous spacing between tables allowed for a comfortable meal. Especially catering to the resort's characteristic of having many families with children, a separate kids' zone is available with children's favorite menus and tableware.

Overall Review
Lotte Resort Buyeo is a particularly suitable accommodation for family travelers, with its clean room layout and essential amenities. The Suite Double Room offers a spacious and pleasant environment with its separate living room and bedroom, and the cleanliness and basic facilities were satisfactory.
The breakfast provided a good mix of Korean and Western food, but the price is a bit burdensome for a simple meal for several families.
Furthermore, the Aqua Garden pool and sauna were facilities where everyone from children to adults could have fun, providing ample conditions for both relaxation and water play. However, while it's a good choice for travelers with infants, the facilities are somewhat lacking compared to resorts in other regions if you're visiting or staying just for the pool.
Overall, the price is on the higher side, but it comes with corresponding facilities and services, making it a recommendable place for those looking for high-quality accommodation in Buyeo.
